With a sound so close to the original Drifters you won’t believe your ears, The Driftars manage to strike the perfect balance between raw ability and true showmanship. Over the years we have performed with the very best of the best – including past members of the Drifters line-up such as Ben E King, Billy Lewis and Tony Jackson. The Driftars have also been fortunate enough to tour with an impressive roster of artists including Dionne Warwick, Lulu, The Searchers, The Fortunes, Suzie Quatro, Edwin Star, and many more.

 As one of the select few to perform with original members of The Drifters, our sole aim is to keep the spirit of The Drifters and Motown music alive and kicking across the globe, and weave our Motown magic into the hearts and minds of every generation. With a wide range of show options available, there’s a Driftars performance to suit every occasion and every budget. Each show takes the very best of The Drifters, soul, Motown, funk and disco and mixing them up to give a show-stopping performance every time!

Driftars performances are available in two ways: either backed up with the dazzling live backing band ‘The Detroit Groove’, or using backing tracks. These options are provided to make Driftars shows accessible to everyone, no matter the event or the size.

To make the set-up process run as smoothly as possible, The Driftars are supported by our very own PA system, as well as a lighting and sound engineer. Of course, if you’d prefer we are more than happy to use the equipment supplied by the venue.
